Celebrating Corporate Anniversaries

Celebrating a company’s anniversary is one of the better ways to communicate an institution’s core values. The company can throw a big party for the employees to honor them and also provide a fun activity and be able to mingle among co-workers without thinking about work and outside the confines of the four walls of the office. But there are also other meaningful ways on how to celebrate a company anniversary. Here are the 3 examples:

OUTREACH PROGRAM

There’s nothing more rewarding that to celebrate something by helping others. Partnering with a charity organization your company already support or want to support. Look for an NGO (non-governmental organization) or institution that matches your corporate values. You can ask employees to help you choose the charity to sponsor, to volunteer and organize the event as well. This is probably the most rewarding activity for everyone who’s involved.

SPORTSFEST / SPORTS EVENTS

Nothing builds camaraderie amongst peers than sports. It can be any sports but team sports are the best way to go as they foster accountability, dedication, leadership and other skills. Plus it is a great way to combat stress because employees will be performing physical exercise which is good for the mind, body and spirit.

COMMUNITY SERVICE

There are numerous benefits to participating in community service, both for yourself, the company and others. There are so many beneficial things about community service like it gives you a way to help others, it helps improve your community, it can help strengthen employee’s resume and it can be a great way to meet new friends and often results in personal growth.

Competing a year indeed calls for a corporate anniversary celebration, as it is a chance to thank the people who are involved in the success and to celebrate the milestone. But we must also keep in mind that our company is beyond the four walls of our offices, but it is the extend to others and the community.
